Plastic Little: The Adventures of Captain Tita (1994)

November 17, 2003 • Film, Reviews

Country: Japan
Director: Kinji Yoshimoto
Producer: Hideaki Fujii, Kazuhiko Ikeguchi
Writer: Masayori Sekimoto
Cast: Yôsuke Akimoto, Yuriko Fuchizaki
Running Time: 55 Min

Plot: A Deadly Race Against Time, With The Fate Of An Entire Planet Hanging On One 17-Year-Old Girl’s Ability To Survive!More rancid buffoonery from the makers of Burn Up. At least this time around they don’t try to ape Bubblegum Crisis, but it’s still awful.

The filmmakers seem determined to heap some kind of drama and excitement around the repeated nipple-shots, but it’s obvious what the focus of the film is. It fails as sci-fi, suspense, and as a tittilating animation. It’s just trash, of the unenjoyable kind.
