Screen star CHOW YUN-FAT has agreed to work on a movie in his native Hong Kong for the first time in a decade after he fell in love with film-maker ANN HUI’s script.

The CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON action star will play a con man who falls in love with one of his potential victims – played by SIQIN GAOWA – in THE AUNT’S POSTMODERN LIFE.

The 50-year-old tells Chinese newspaper the Apple Daily, “I agreed to this movie because I haven’t worked with Ann in a long time. I admire her and Siqin Gaowa a lot. Plus the role I was offered in this movie is something new. I’ve never played a swindler before, so I want to try.”

Yun-Fat is currently working alongside JOHNNY DEPP after signing on to play pirate CAPTAIN SAO FENG in the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN sequels, which are being filmed back to back in the Caribbean.
