Plot: This film is one of the best gangster flicks ever to come out of Hong Kong. Incredibly photographed, it is the classic tragic hero film.

An oversaturated but solid movie that is one of the early heroic bloodshed film tragedies. Kenny Bee plays the sweet paramour of Joey Wang, who later returns to her mob-dominated life as a nearly soulless killer. Of course his love for her is re-awakened and he attempts to run away from the triads with her. None of the film is very unexpected, but it is well shot and quite tragic, appointed with a great early performance by Tony Leung Chiu-Wai as the small-time triad who comes to their aid.
