Close To You
Maus has acquired a new habit of staying close to me no matter where I am. In the kitchen, he’s crossed the upper/lower counter barrier and squats on my food diary. While I’m writing. I draw cat outlines throughout the book to prove he was there. Like at a crime scene.
I thought he wanted to be near me but I finally figured out he was just trying to keep his butt warm.
Next time I’ll leave a towel on the counter for him.
